What is spot color ink? Spot color ink is 100% opaque and mixed color by color. Each color get printed individually to the applicable artwork areas. Spot color inks are not suitable for artwork with complex elements, photos, or a high quantity of colors. All of our formulas are available with any number of spot colors or as a full color CMYK if necessary.
What are the advantages of spot color ink? We mix our spot color inks using the PANTONE® color matching system. This means your finished product will be the same color every time with a solid 100% opaque appearance unlike digital and other print processes that use multicolor dots to create the colors.
